Please see 2019 judge information below--
Dear friends of TSA and potential judges,
We are “Celebrating Our 40th” at the annual Alabama Technology Student Association State Conference. My name is Ben Scheierman and I am the State Advisor for TSA which is one of the six Career and Technical Student Organizations housed in the Alabama Department of Education. The Technology Student Association fosters personal growth, leadership, and career opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); members apply and integrate these concepts through co-curricular activities, competitions, and related programs. Alabama TSA will be holding our 40th annual, State Leadership Conference on April 23rd – 24th, 2019 at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex, in the East meeting rooms.
Our student association is in need of many judges for our competitions and we are soliciting you for help. Attached you will find an event synopsis and a link to our judge’s sign-up sheet. All but one event are conducted in a single day, so you can volunteer your time in the afternoon of the 23rd , the morning of the 24th’, or both days if your schedule will allow. If you have other people in mind who would like to help us, please feel free to pass this e-mail along to them and ask that they complete the judges sign-up form with their contact info. Many on this distribution list have served as judges in the past and can back me up when I say. I am certain those who participate will find it a rewarding experience working with our middle and high school student members from across the state.
This link will take you to our judges sign up form. https://goo.gl/forms/VHAdSR4iKCFKCb9f2 After registering, and closer to conference time, I will send you specific contest rules and regulations so that you can familiarize yourself with the contest before your arrival.
We look forward to seeing you at our 40th annual state leadership conference!
Ever yours in education,
